Toro was born on June 5, 1999 and completed his championship on June 16, 2000.
In March 2000, he won BOW at Louisville, KY for a 4 pt major under judge Paula
Hartinger. One month later he won Best of Winners at The Greater Atlanta Fox Terrier
Club Specialty Show, under judge Jon Cole, for another 4 pt major.
On May 6, 2000, Toro won Winners Dog at The AFTC Millennium Specialty Show at Bucks
County, NJ under judge Barbara Keenan - again, another 4 pt major. Later
that day, Toro won the SFTAA Futurity Best In Show under breeder, Chris Heimann
(Rapidan).
Soon after the Bucks County Shows, we sent Toro to the West Coast to prepare him for
The Great Western Specialty Weekend. There he won Winners Dog for a 5 pt major,
under Karen Wilson, and Best In Sweeps under Nance Buckley. This big win completed
Toro's championship.
Under limited showing in 2000, Toro won two Group Firsts and a group
placement. In 2001, handled by Lance DeLoria, Toro has won multiple Best
of Breeds, a Group First, Second, Third and Fourth. He is currently ranked
in the Top Ten for the Breed.
Toro has one champion offspring in America, Ch. LaRoz Yah Baby, who won Winners Dog at The Mt. Hood Fox Terrier
Specialty (Portland, OR) in July, 2001 under breeder-judge Judy Franklin.
He also won Best of Opposite in Sweeps at The Western Fox Terrier Breeder
Association Specialty in June 2001 (Long Beach, CA).
Toro is now living in Sweden with Annika Larsson, Indianfox Kennels. Click
