Part of the enjoyment of showing, breeding and owning Smooth and Wire Fox Terriers comes from the camaraderie, newsletters, education and activities provided through Breed Club memberships. We are members of the following:
Breed Clubs are an essential part of life here at TribalFox and we highly recommend Fox Terrier owners to join a local or national Breed Club. While all the clubs above may not have web sites yet, they do send out newsletters on a quarterly basis - note: the clubs listed above with underlined links can be clicked upon to be connected to the web site. The newsletters are always fun to receive as they usually contain photographs of Fox Terriers winning at conformation shows, working the quarry at Earth Dog Trials, jumping the obstacles in Agility or just showing off their terrier personalities in candid photos. Check out our "Smooth Links" page to visit other breed-related web sites. New litters, New Champions, Event Notices and Illustrations can be found in club publications as well as names and address of Fox Terrier breeders all over the world. Most of the Breed Clubs above publish some type of Year Book, Annual or Source Book which have photos of stud dogs, brood bitches, pedigrees, specialty winners and member advertisements. The annuals also contain show and championship results for the year. Other publications such as The Smooth & Wire Quarterly and Terrier Type provide general and specific information and photographs. If you are not a member of a local or national club, we would like to take this opportunity to encourage you to join one and get in on the fun and educational benefits the clubs provide.
